Today was our FINAL appointment with Dr. Grainger, who is our fertility specialist - he's been great. He wanted to see us one more time before we could be released to Theresa's normal OB/GYN doctor. We definitely have a healthy baby that is all of 1.5 inches long, with a heart rate of 160. Awesome! We even got to see the baby move a bit before he/she got tired and went back to "sleep". In this photo, you can definitely see that the brain and spine have formed, among other things.

Isn't it amazing at such an early stage how much "baby" you can see! It makes it all seem so real! You will be official parents before you can blink!! Congrats again!

hey we are so glad that u got to see it move. for me that was one of the most memerable moments ever and i think i even cried after. next thing you know you'll be sitting here bloging and listening to your baby complain about being hungry like mat is now. we are so happy for you both and can't express that enough! love katherine and daniel
